Abstract

Abstract:The study was titled (Espionage in the Era of the Abbasid Caliph Al-Mansour and Its Impact on the State Security), where the study dealt with the concept of espionage in language and convention, as well as espionage in the Abbasid State. The objectives pursued by the study were numerous, the most prominent of which is the study of the work of spies during the reign of Caliph Al-Mansour, and their role in solving the problems that he faced. The problem of the study lies in identifying the role of spies in confronting the revolutions that took place during the reign of Caliph Al-Mansour. The study followed the historical, descriptive and analytical method. The study reached several results, the most important of which is that espionage played a major role in consolidating the pillars of the Abbasid State during the period of the succession of Aba Jaafar Al-Mansour. The study recommended that there should be a general and comprehensive study of espionage in the Abbasid State.
